This jewel was made by Giverso in Italy and it is part of the artistic project DAUGHTERS OF THE SUN in the MAKETATON COLLECTION .
The artistic project consists in an ethical jewelry path where Giverso’s creations interpret and give form to the personalities and qualities of the six daughters of Pharaoh Akhenaton and his wife Nefertiti.
In particular, this jewel is the result of interpreting the qualities of SENSITIVITY and GENTLENESS personified by the daughter Meketaton, the symbol of a life cut short — a purity that does not survive human fragility.
The feminine qualities of Sensitivity and Sweetness of Princess Maketaten, the second daughter of Pharaoh Akhenaten, are wonderfully expressed in the collection of alternative, eternal and magical pearls of the brightest natural colours. As the pearl is born from the heart of the oyster, so a sensitive and pure personality is formed through the emotions, at times painful. The oyster welcomes and transforms ‘an impurity’, a grain of sand, into something precious, slowly, enclosing it in layers of light and delicacy. In the same way, a sensitive soul transforms its emotions into empathy, sweetness and inner beauty: what comes from the heart becomes a testimony of authentic strength and purity.
